View From Here are looking for a videographer to document a one week development of a new play by Alice Malseed, directed by Katherine Nesbitt, which will be taking place at the New Diorama Broadgate rehearsal space in London between the 4th and 8th October.
We are looking for someone with their own filming and sound equipment who will be able to join us in the room on the last day document the work, and who also has the skills and software to edit together a 5-minute film consisting of the footage and interviews with the creatives, which we will use in promoting and marketing the project moving forward. If you have experience of making performance documentation for theatre then that would be desirable.
We’re particularly interested in meeting candidates who are currently under-represented in theatre, and particularly technical theatre and theatre documentation. This project explores themes around immigration, gentrification and relocation, so if that’s something that you particularly explore in your work please let us know.
